The Strokes debut Dine N’Dash before album release

The Strokes have released their first album in six years, ‘Reality Awaits’, after previewing it at Red Rocks in Colorado with the live debut of new song ‘Dine N’Dash’. The performance, during the second of two Red Rocks shows on 23 July, marked the final concert before the album’s official release and reinforced the band’s return to touring with new material.

Their 19-song set also included the album’s lead single ‘Going Shopping’ alongside songs such as ‘Hard to Explain’, ‘Reptilia’, ‘Last Nite’ and ‘Ode To The Mets’. Hamilton Leithauser and ÖLÜM supported, while the tour continues in North America and Japan before UK and European dates in October; guitarist Nick Valensi remains on a temporary break from live performances.
