Waterparks has unveiled a music video for 'Tell Me Why', the opening track of their new album 'JINX', built around a narrative of frontman Awsten Knight facing judgment from both divine and demonic forces. The track features an ensemble of guest performers including Mark Hoppus, Dillon Franic, Danny Elfman, and Eric Nally, with the video employing handmade puppets to visualise this conceptual story.

The project emerged from practical necessity rather than artistic planning. Knight created the visual component on an iPhone within his apartment, with minimal resources and a reported budget of only $400 spent on puppets, enlisting his sister and her boyfriend to help production. The video was originally designed as an internal tool to communicate the song's layered narrative to potential collaborators, with no expectation of public distribution. However, following enthusiastic responses from the featured artists and encouragement from the record label, the decision was made to officially release the footage, elevating an informal creative experiment to a commercial music video.
