Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale has named the pop and folk acts she would most like to collaborate with outside her band's usual hard rock territory. Speaking in a fan Q&A for the new issue of Metal Hammer, Hale singled out US pop star Pink and UK folk-indie group Mumford & Sons as her dream non-rock partners, reflecting the Grammy-winning band's history of stepping outside genre lines through covers and guest collaborations.

Hale said working with Pink could "bring her to the dark side", while praising Mumford & Sons' 2026 album Prizefighter as a favourite despite being "way, way outside" Halestorm's usual sound. The band, known for its Reanimate covers series tackling songs by Lady Gaga, Fleetwood Mac and Metallica, also hinted a fourth instalment or even a full covers album could follow, aided by their new in-house studio. Halestorm has previous form for unexpected pairings, having previously featured Slash, Myles Kennedy and Wolfgang Van Halen on a guest version of their track "Here's To Us".
