Sharon Osbourne has paid tribute to her husband Ozzy Osbourne on the first anniversary of his death, urging fans to remember his sense of humour. The Black Sabbath frontman, known as the Prince Of Darkness, died on 22 July 2025 following a heart attack, and Sharon has spoken publicly about how he should be remembered a year on.

In a new interview with the BBC, Sharon, who was married to Ozzy for 43 years from 1982 until his death, described him as "authentic" and "so genuine and funny". She recalled that even their worst arguments would end in laughter because of his ability to say something "so ridiculous" that they would both crack up, adding that he never pretended to be anything other than himself.
