Stanway, 27, marked her arrival by having the lyric "whatever the weather" from Arsenal's anthem North London Forever tattooed on her arm before even playing for the club, saying it symbolised her commitment to give everything for the team. Wubben-Moy, 27, who joined Arsenal's academy at 13 and lifted the Champions Cup with the club in May, says she is ready to claim a regular starting spot in defence after previously covering for injured teammates. Jodie Taylor, who became Arsenal's technical director in January, said the departures of Mead and McCabe were always expected as part of this transfer window, while Wubben-Moy described change as "inevitable" in the fast-evolving women's game, extending beyond players to staff, commercial and communications teams.
