A couple from Wisconsin have lost both of their young children in a boating accident on Lake Geneva, one of three children who drowned when a sudden storm capsized the vessel last Friday. Abigail Oswald, seven, and her six-year-old brother Caleb were found at the bottom of the lake still wearing their life jackets, alongside a 10-year-old girl who has not been publicly named. The tragedy has drawn wide attention in part because the children were reportedly following safety precautions and the boat was said to be well within its capacity when disaster struck.

The children were aboard a 25-foot Nautique P25 boat that sank around 32 feet underwater when the storm swept through. The father, Brad Oswald, who with his wife Erica is mourning the loss, described Abigail and Caleb as "best friends" and has launched a GoFundMe campaign to create a fund for a children's charity in their memory. A family friend, Samantha Foster, said the Oswalds were "lifelong, experienced boaters" and that the storm "came out of nowhere and left just as fast," urging people to donate and pray for the couple.
