Weezer have released the music video for "C.E.O.", the latest single from their forthcoming album The Gold Album, in which the band is comically replaced by a cast of celebrity impersonators after growing tired of being pushed into nostalgia-driven reenactments. The video sees Rob Riggle and Rob Huebel play record executives who pressure frontman Rivers Cuomo into recreating the band's famous 1994 "Undone (The Sweater Song)" clip, playing on the music industry's appetite for recycled nostalgia.

When the band tires of the stunt and a swarm of bees is released on set as a nod to the original video's dogs, Weezer walk off and are swiftly replaced by a stand-in line-up featuring Tony Hawk, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Michael Peña, Giovanni Ribisi, Dax Flame and Jay Renshaw. The Gold Album, Weezer's follow-up to 2021's OK Human and Van Weezer, is due out on 21 August and has already spawned two other singles. The band has also expanded its "Weezer: The Gathering" tour with new 2027 dates across the UK, Europe and Japan.
