Weezer Share Nostalgic New Track ‘C.E.O’, Announce World Tour Dates
Weezer have released a new single, ‘C.E.O.’, from their forthcoming album ‘Weezer’ (also known as ‘The Gold Album’), alongside an announcement of expanded world tour dates. The track continues the band's trademark off-kilter alt-rock sound, and its accompanying video playfully revisits the setup of their classic ‘Undone (The Sweater Song)’, featuring cameos from Tony Hawk, Rob Riggle, Michael Peña and other guests.
The new album arrives on 21 August via Reprise/Warner Records and also features the previously shared track ‘We Might As Well Be Strangers’. The band's ‘The Gathering’ tour has been extended with new UK, European and Japanese dates for spring 2027, joining existing US arena shows running through September and October with support from Silversun Pickups and The Shins; Taking Back Sunday will support the UK and European leg, which includes stops in Dublin, Manchester, London, Glasgow and other major cities.
