“Weird Al” Pulls Al’s Brain 3D Short Film and “The Brain Song” from the Archives: Watch
"Weird Al" Yankovic has released a previously unseen 2009 educational short film, "Al's Brain: A 3-D Journey Through the Human Brain," along with its companion track "The Brain Song," on his YouTube channel. The comedian and musician described the material as no longer being "lost media," ending an unofficial disappearance that had lasted since the works' original fairground screenings. The release will interest fans keen to uncover overlooked corners of Yankovic's back catalogue.
The short and song were originally shown only at the Orange County and Western Washington county fairs and had not been officially available since. They feature Yankovic guiding viewers through the workings of the brain alongside a starry cast including Sir Paul McCartney, Thomas Lennon, Patton Oswalt, Tim & Eric and Fabio, plus a CGI owl voiced by Billy West, known for his work on "Futurama," "Doug" and "Ren & Stimpy."
