West Ham sign winger Solomon from Tottenham

BBC Sport · 5 hours ago

West Ham United have signed Israel winger Manor Solomon from Tottenham Hotspur on a three-year contract, for an undisclosed fee understood to be around £5m. The move makes the 27-year-old the Championship club's third permanent signing of the summer, as West Ham build a squad aimed at an immediate return to the Premier League following relegation.

Solomon, who will wear the number 10 shirt, made 19 appearances on loan at Fiorentina last season after joining Spurs in 2023, having also had loan spells at Leeds United and Villarreal. Capped 49 times by Israel, he won three titles with Shakhtar Donetsk in Ukraine and helped Leeds win the Championship in 2024-25. He joins Venezuela midfielder Keiber Lamadrid and former Netherlands defender Joel Veltman among West Ham's summer arrivals, while the club has also sold Crysencio Summerville to Al-Hilal and Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham.
