What can you use your Apple Watch Ultra 4 action button for?
The Apple Watch Ultra 4’s orange action button gives quick access to a chosen command, avoiding taps through menus and apps. It can also trigger an emergency siren, making it useful during outdoor activities as well as everyday routines.
The button can be assigned to tools such as Flashlight, Voice Memo, Translate, music recognition, workouts, Stopwatch, Dive, navigation and accessibility features. Only one action is assigned at a time, but holding the button briefly opens Quick Switch to change its function; the Shortcut option can run automations created on an iPhone, including smart home controls.
