German electro-metal band Electric Callboy have released a new single, The Way You Are, which reimagines the sound of late-1990s and early-2000s boyband love ballads as a heavy deathcore track. The release matters as another taster for the band's forthcoming seventh studio album, continuing their trademark blend of playful pop-culture parody with aggressive metal songwriting.

The single is accompanied by a music video spoofing classic boyband-style clips from acts such as Westlife and Backstreet Boys, before subverting expectations with a heavier musical turn. It is the eighth single released from the band's upcoming album Tanzneid, their second under the Electric Callboy name since rebranding from Eskimo Callboy in 2022, with the full record due out on 7 August.
