What we’ve been playing – “I’ve been intrigued by horrible images of live-action sequences for weeks”
Eurogamer staff describe the games they have been playing during Halloween week, including a supernatural farm, a return to a classic horror game and a new indie horror. Their experiences range from enjoying a slower pace to finding that a much-anticipated game has not yet delivered the scares expected.
One writer is developing a farm in Stardew Valley and enjoying the gradual progress, while another says Amnesia, first released in 2010, still holds up. Tenebris Somnia impressed a writer with its approach to horror, but its adventure-game sections disappointed after weeks of anticipation around its live-action sequences; they also recommend the more tightly focused Faith: The Unholy Trilogy.
