Tubi, the free ad-supported streaming service, is adding hundreds of new films and television series to its library throughout August 2026. The expansion spans genres from big-budget action and romantic comedies to arthouse dramas and horror, reflecting Tubi's continued push to broaden its content library and compete with other streamers by relying on volume and variety rather than a subscription fee.

Notable additions include "Problemista" with Julio Torres and Tilda Swinton, the Oscar-nominated "Lady Bird" starring Saoirse Ronan, Sean Baker's "Red Rocket", the first three "Mission: Impossible" films, and "The Assessment" with Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Olsen. On 10 August, Tubi will also release three horror films that reimagine public-domain childhood characters, namely "Bambi: The Reckoning", "Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare" and "Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2", alongside a broader slate of classic action films, comedies and TV series arriving from 1 August.
