Fourteen-year-old Brooklyn Marie impressed The Voice coaches during the third night of the Blind Auditions with her performance of Olivia Rodrigo’s “Traitor”. Queen Latifah and Kelly Clarkson turned their chairs, while the other coaches praised Marie’s remarkable vocal ability and maturity; she ultimately chose to join Team Kelly.

Marie was also playing guitar, and Queen Latifah highlighted the emotional impact of her performance, particularly its ending. Clarkson praised Marie’s distinctive, pure tone and said she had the potential to win, drawing on her own experience as a competition winner and coach of young artists.
