Whitney Leavitt will return to Broadway in the Bobby Darin bio-musical Just in Time, taking over the role of singer Sandra Dee for a six-week limited run. The casting is significant because producers will hope her proven ability to attract audiences, demonstrated during her recent appearance in Chicago, boosts ticket sales over the lucrative Christmas and New Year period.

Leavitt will perform at Circle in the Square Theatre from 1 December 2026 until 10 January 2027, joining lead actor Jeremy Jordan; Carrie St. Louis currently plays Dee. Just in Time opened in April 2025 to critical acclaim and is the only musical from the 2024–25 season to announce it has recouped its investment, while Chicago reportedly achieved its highest-grossing period in its 29-year history during Leavitt’s run, with weekly takings exceeding $1 million.
