Yoni Wolf, the Cincinnati musician behind WHY?, has announced a new album titled Oh Golly / Yes Lord, due out on 30 October via Waterlines. It follows 2024's The Well I Fell Into, which chronicled a painful breakup, with the new record exploring the messier aftermath of that split, including dating again and coping with loneliness in the internet age.

The 11-track album was produced with Nate Mercereau, known for his work with the Weeknd and Shawn Mendes, alongside Wolf's brother and regular collaborator Josiah, with additional contributions from Fog's Andrew Broder and Gayngs' Ryan Olson. Wolf has shared the closing track and lead single "In Spirit", a lo-fi ballad on which he plays all the instruments himself, describing it as a wistful romantic gesture towards someone he has never met in person.
