Why David Krumholtz Was Absent From ’10 Things I Hate About You’ Reunion on ‘DWTS’
David Krumholtz explained that he missed the “10 Things I Hate About You” reunion on “Dancing With the Stars” because he was filming a movie in New York’s Catskill Mountains. He said he would have liked to attend and praised Julia Stiles’s tribute to his late friend and co-star Heath Ledger.
Stiles and professional partner Ezra Sosa danced to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, the song Ledger’s character used to serenade her character in the 1999 film. Several cast members joined Stiles afterwards, including Andrew Keegan and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Krumholtz, who played Michael Eckman, joked that his newly shaved head might have attracted online attention, but said it was not why he was absent.
