‘Wicked’ Officially Sets New 2027 Release With Elphaba and Glinda [Exclusive]

Mattel will release Elphaba and Glinda collector dolls for *Wicked: For Good* in spring 2027, designed with costume designer Paul Tazewell. The designs draw on the film’s costumes and use details from each witch’s wardrobe to reflect the friendship at the centre of their story.

Elphaba’s dramatic outfit combines a high-collar bolero, angular bodice, full skirt, hat and heels; its black-to-pink colouring represents Glinda’s influence. Glinda’s pink gown takes inspiration from flower petals and butterfly wings, with chartreuse accents recalling Elphaba. Both dolls are due to be displayed at Universal’s Oztacular Spectacular fan event in Orlando on 24 October.
