A touring series of live-to-film concerts, "Wicked: Part One in Concert," will launch in early 2027, featuring a full symphony orchestra performing Stephen Schwartz and John Powell's score live alongside a screening of the film. The tour opens with a preview concert in San Francisco before its official world premiere at New York's Radio City Music Hall, reflecting the growing popularity of live orchestral film screenings and building on the success of the Wicked movie franchise.

Following its January 2027 debut, the tour will travel to Chicago, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, with further dates and cities still to be confirmed. Tickets go on sale first through a free Live Nation All Access pre-sale from 10 September, followed by general sale via Ticketmaster from 11 September. Composer Stephen Schwartz said he was delighted the films were being adapted into concerts, praising musical director Justin Hurwitz's involvement.
