‘Widow’s Bay’ Showrunner Officially Confirms Season 2 Filming Timeline [Exclusive]

Widow’s Bay showrunner Katie Dippold has confirmed that filming for the Apple TV horror series’ second season is planned to begin in early 2027. The update gives viewers the first firm indication of the production schedule after Apple renewed the programme shortly before its first-season finale.

Dippold said the writers’ room began during San Diego Comic-Con week and will write for the next 20 weeks. All 10 episodes of the first season are available to stream, and the show received 19 Emmy nominations after performing strongly on Apple TV’s streaming charts.
