Wild Grand Theft Auto-style police chase ends with driver ploughing car into an airplane

Daily Mail ·

Police in Arizona pursued a car linked to an illegal street racing group after its driver failed to stop late on Saturday. The chase ended at Scottsdale Airport, where the car broke through an access gate, crossed onto the tarmac and hit a plane inside a private hangar, damaging both the aircraft and the hangar.

The two people in the car were identified as Liberty Dawn Still, 33, and Michael Gregory Wall, 24, and were arrested shortly after the collision. Wall was tasered after resisting arrest; both were booked on multiple felony charges, while the FBI is investigating the airport trespass. Police said a GPS tracking device helped them monitor the car, and airport operations were not affected.
