Wild Pink Make Sense of It All on New Album Still Coming Down: Track by Track Exclusive
Wild Pink have shared a track-by-track guide to their new album, Still Coming Down, out now via Fire Talk Records. It marks the band's sixth studio album and the follow-up to 2024's acclaimed Dulling the Horns, seeing frontman John Ross continue exploring modern American life through vivid, idiosyncratic songwriting on a record that leans further into the heavier rock sound of its predecessor.
The nine-track album was recorded in just one week at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville with producer Alex Farrar, known for his work with Wednesday, Samia and Bnny. Its songs draw on eclectic sources including parenthood, rising living costs, bank robbers, old movies, conspiracy theories, Kennedy assassination lore and even a branch of Target in Kingston, New York. Wild Pink previewed the record with the singles "Round of Applause at the End of the World," "Box Store" and "500 Is the New 250," and will support the release with a North American tour beginning this autumn.
