Wolfgang Van Halen says he is beginning to develop ideas for MAMMOTH’s next album and is looking forward to returning to the studio, although the band still has significant touring commitments for current record ‘The End’. He described touring and recording as drawing on separate “batteries”, meaning time on the road renews his enthusiasm for writing and vice versa.

A fourth MAMMOTH album could be recorded sometime in 2027, possibly in the second quarter, but Van Halen said no release timetable has been set. He has around 30 unfinished ideas to draw from, including older concepts like songs completed for ‘The End’, and expects the excitement of recording may lead him to write a further 10 to 12 songs before studio sessions begin.
