A 39-year-old woman has been found stabbed to death at a home in Melbourne, Australia, and a man has been taken into police custody. The killing is the latest in a series of fatal domestic-related incidents and has prompted a police investigation.

Police were called to a property on Delatite Court in the suburb of Vermont just before 10pm, where the woman was found dead at the scene. A 39-year-old man was arrested and treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital under police guard.
