Jamie Ulshoffer was paralysed from the waist down after a man reportedly fell from a tree and landed on her during Knocked Loose’s set at Louisville’s Louder Than Life festival. She remains in intensive care, while police have said there will be no criminal investigation and that the incident is a civil matter.

Ulshoffer’s husband said a tree limb broke after rain, causing the man to fall; she reportedly suffered a severed spine and was already affected by injuries from a 2020 car crash. A GoFundMe had raised nearly $10,000, and Ulshoffer said she was willing to forgive the man despite the life-changing consequences.
