A woman believed to be in her 30s has suffered head and arm injuries after falling around 30 metres from a cliff while rock climbing with a group in the Blue Mountains National Park, New South Wales. The incident highlights the risks involved in climbing at popular but remote cliff-side locations, which often require specialist emergency response due to difficult terrain and access.

Emergency services were called to Ben Travado Wall, off the Sublime Point Walking Track at Leura, at around 11am on Saturday. NSW Ambulance said multiple crews, including special operations paramedics, attended the scene, and a critical care paramedic was being winched in by helicopter to treat the woman for her injuries.
