A contract custodial worker at Wilmington College in Ohio was arrested after allegedly hiding in the ceiling of the women's soccer team's locker room to photograph team members whilst they changed. The discovery highlights serious security concerns at educational institutions and raises questions about background checks and supervision of maintenance staff with access to sensitive areas.

Jayson Barker of Jeffersonville was discovered just before 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday when a team member noticed him in the ceiling space above the changing area. He faces 11 counts of voyeurism and is being held at Clinton County Jail on a $22,000 cash surety bond, with his next court appearance scheduled for 5 October. The college has provided counselling and support services to affected students and stated that student safety remains its paramount concern.
