This light-hearted Sunday "Screencaps" column from OutKick centres on Croatian model and football influencer Ivana Knoll, who has become a familiar figure at major tournaments through her flamboyant support of Croatia. With her home nation knocked out of the World Cup, the piece frames her as needing to pick a new team to back, and jokingly notes that her chosen "bandwagon" failed to pay off. The item is essentially entertainment filler rather than hard news, blending celebrity, fandom and sport.
Croatia's exit came in the Round of 32, where they were eliminated by Portugal, ending Knoll's run of support for her country. The article also trails other segments referenced in the headline, including country singer Megan Moroney and the return of former UFC champion Conor McGregor, and it sits among a wider mix of World Cup coverage, betting tips and sports gossip. The published text cuts off before detailing which replacement team Knoll actually chose or how Moroney and McGregor feature.
In short
- Ivana Knoll picked a new World Cup team to back u2014 and it lost.
- Croatia were knocked out by Portugal in the Round of 32.
- A casual OutKick column also touching on Megan Moroney and Conor McGregor.
