Wrexham are reportedly considering a late move for Sheffield United attacking midfielder Callum O’Hare before the transfer deadline. The potential deal matters because Wrexham are seeking greater creativity after a winless start to their Championship campaign, while Sheffield United view O’Hare as important to their own promotion hopes.

O’Hare is contracted to Sheffield United until 2028 and has become more central to their plans following Gus Hamer’s move to Coventry City. Ben Brereton Díaz’s arrival has also allowed O’Hare to return to his preferred central role after playing on the wing. Wrexham have also been linked with Anis Mehmeti and Pavel Šulc, but would need to persuade Sheffield United to sell before the deadline.
