WWE star Dominik Mysterio reveals the vicious way he’d want to end his feud with legendary father

Fox News · 3 hours ago

WWE and AAA star Dominik Mysterio has described the ending he'd want to his long-running feud with his father, wrestling legend Rey Mysterio, ahead of their involvement in AAA's Triplemania 34 event. The pair's on-screen and personal relationship has soured since Dominik joined The Judgment Day faction, with Dominik previously branding his father a "deadbeat", making the rivalry one of the more personal storylines in Lucha Libre and WWE crossover events.

Speaking to OutKick Dropkick, Dominik said his father would have to surrender his mask, take on the Mysterio name himself, apologise on his knees and retire for the feud to reach a satisfying conclusion — a reference to Lucha Libre's mask-versus-mask tradition, where losing a mask symbolises ultimate disrespect and defeat. Triplemania 34 runs across two nights, with Dominik backing Omos against Rey in Las Vegas on the opening night, before facing El Grande Americano for the AAA Mega Championship in Mexico City on night two; at 51, Rey remains AAA's general manager and shows no signs of stepping back.

  • Dominik Mysterio wants his father Rey to lose his mask and retire.
  • The pair feud on-screen at AAA's two-night Triplemania 34 event.
  • Rey, 51, is AAA's general manager and still active in the ring.
