Xbox Game Pass July 2026 lineup revealed with Halo remake
Xbox has revealed the second wave of Game Pass additions for July, headlined by the day-one release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of the 2001 original that kickstarted the franchise. The announcement matters for subscribers because it offsets a heavy month of removals, with the new titles arriving just as nearly 20 games leave the service, and it confirms that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 will no longer join Game Pass this month as previously promised.
The second wave adds eight titles, bringing July's total to 18 additions, matching the number of departures. Alongside Halo: Campaign Evolved (out 28 July, without multiplayer but with three new missions), day-one releases include Mistfall Hunter and Shift at Midnight, while Game Freak's long-awaited Beast of Reincarnation lands in early August. Other additions include the acclaimed Hell Is Us, Corsair Cove, The Planet Crafter and Heretic + Hexen, spanning cloud, console and PC availability across Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass tiers.
