Microsoft is marking the 25th anniversary of the original Xbox console by launching a wave of translucent green accessories from third-party manufacturers, tying into the console's popular nostalgic colour scheme even though the first Xbox actually launched in black with a green logo. The move is part of a broader anniversary push, which also includes a translucent green Xbox Series X console due in November, and reflects how strongly the see-through green aesthetic has become associated with the brand's early 2000s identity.

The lineup includes green-tinted reskins of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, Razer BlackWidow V4 75% keyboard and Razer Hammerhead V3 X Hyperspeed earbuds, alongside a green 8BitDo charging dock for Xbox controllers and a redesigned GameSir X5 Lite mobile controller compatible with iOS and Android. Not everything follows the colour theme: the Backbone Pro Xbox 25th Anniversary Edition controller ships in one of three random, non-selectable colourways, while the PowerA Xbox Sling Bag—designed for Xbox Ally handhelds rather than consoles—is mostly black with only minor green accents. All the items are available for preorder now via the Xbox store or individual manufacturers.
