Xbox has a teeny new gamepad
Xbox has unveiled the Nano Controller, its smallest gamepad, offering the familiar Xbox layout in a compact design. The $50 controller is intended to suit younger players and people with smaller hands, and also works with phones and some smart TVs.
It measures just over five inches and weighs 3.5 ounces, with a rechargeable battery and a programmable action button for tasks such as capturing screenshots. Bluetooth connects it to Xbox consoles, PCs, iOS and Android devices, and certain TVs. US pre-orders are open ahead of shipping on 4 November; availability in 35 other countries is planned for next month. Samsung is also offering it with two months of Game Pass Ultimate for new subscribers who buy select TVs in the US during the holiday season.
