LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is leaving Xbox Game Pass on 31 October, Microsoft has confirmed. Subscribers will need to buy the game separately to keep playing after it leaves the service, ending a stay that began in December 2022.

Released in April 2022, the game retells all nine main Star Wars films and lets players explore 23 planets. It has more than 300 unlockable characters, two-player local co-op and, in the Galactic Edition, over 400 playable characters including figures from stories beyond the films.

In short

  • The game leaves Xbox Game Pass on 31 October.
  • It joined the service in December 2022.
  • The Galactic Edition has over 400 playable characters.

Explained simply

Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that gives members access to a changing library of games. A game leaving the library means subscribers lose access through the service, though they can continue playing if they own a separate copy.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a family-friendly action-adventure game based on the nine main Star Wars films. Players explore settings from the films and collect characters, while local co-op lets two people play together on one console.

The game brings together stories and characters from across the Star Wars films, a long-running science-fiction series created by George Lucas. Its large cast and broad coverage of the saga make it a notable entry for players interested in exploring that fictional universe.
