Xbox Series X|S hardware sales in the United States more than doubled in dollar terms in June 2026 compared with a year earlier, according to Circana. However, the increase did not reverse a wider decline in console spending, and Xbox still trailed the Switch 2 and PS5 in monthly hardware sales.

Switch 2 hardware spending fell 79% year on year, largely against its June 2025 launch period, while PS5 spending declined 19% and its unit sales dropped 43%. Overall US video-game hardware spending fell 62% to $383 million; Xbox unit sales rose 86%, aided by comparison with a weak June 2025 after a price rise.
