Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country Updated To Version 2.0.0

Nintendo Life · 4 hours ago

Nintendo has released a free Version 2.0.0 update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country, timed to coincide with today's launch of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. The update brings the standalone expansion in line with the upgraded main game, giving Switch 2 owners improved visuals and performance without any extra charge, though the original Switch version remains unchanged.

On Switch 2, the patch raises the resolution to 4K in TV mode (provided the connected television supports 4K) and 1080p in handheld mode, alongside a boost to 60 frames per second in both. Players who own Torna as part of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass can unlock the enhancements by purchasing the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition upgrade pack from the eShop. This follows last week's Version 3.0.0 update to the base game, which prepared it for this week's Switch 2 launch.

  • Torna – The Golden Country gets free Switch 2 update to Version 2.0.0
  • Adds 4K/60fps in TV mode, 1080p/60fps handheld
  • Switch (non-Switch 2) version unaffected; requires XC2 Switch 2 upgrade pack
