It sits in the middle of Xgimi's new Titan Noir range, aimed at enthusiasts who want a bigger picture than a standard 4K television without the bulky, office-style design typical of rival high-end projectors.

The Titan Noir range comprises three models distinguished mainly by brightness and contrast: the Titan Noir ($3,999), the Noir Pro tested here ($4,999), and the Noir Max ($5,999). Despite its power, the Noir Pro measures just 9.1 by 11.3 by 14.9 inches and weighs 16.75 pounds, far smaller and lighter than rivals such as the Epson LS12000 or Sony Bravia Projector 7. It features an advanced optical system with a 0.98:1 to 2.0:1 throw ratio and extensive lens shift, allowing precise, full-resolution image placement without digital cropping, plus eye-protection sensors, three HDMI ports (one with eARC), USB-A ports, and Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity, though it lacks a built-in smart TV platform like Google TV.
