Xreal’s One Pro+ glasses gain brighter display and improved fit

Engadget ·

Xreal has released the One Pro+, a modest update to its One Pro augmented-reality glasses, adding a brighter display and changes intended to improve comfort. The refresh matters particularly for people using the glasses for extended work sessions, when fit can become uncomfortable.

Peak brightness rises from 700 to 1,200 nits, and AI HDR upscaling is included. Xreal has also improved its 2D-to-3D conversion from 30Hz to 60Hz and redesigned the nose pad; the glasses retain the same X1 spatial computing chip and 57-degree field of view, have no camera, and cost $600, the same as last year’s model.

Augmented-reality glasses show digital images in front of the wearer’s view of the real world. Xreal’s One Pro is designed to display content such as work screens, and its X1 chip processes that content; the glasses have no camera.

Brightness affects how clearly a display can be seen, while fit can matter during long periods of use. The One Pro has a 57-degree field of view, and its price is $600, the same as last year’s model.
