The Toronto International Film Festival has disclosed its 2026 television programming slate, bringing together prestige dramas from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, AMC+, and other major streaming services. The collection includes both new original series and adaptations of established intellectual property, with festival premieres for titles including Yaga starring Carrie-Anne Moss, the American Hostage anthology series with Jon Hamm, and a Friday the 13th prequel. Programming runs September 10-20.

In addition to North American productions, the slate incorporates television projects from Australia, France, Germany, and Brazil, reflecting the festival's international programming strategy. Alongside new releases, returning series such as Apple TV+'s Slow Horses will make an international debut, whilst established franchises receive fresh interpretations from acclaimed directors like Mike Flanagan. The Primetime section demonstrates the festival's expanding role in showcasing high-budget television content across multiple platforms and genres.
