Scott Beck and Bryan Woods' 2024 horror film Heretic, starring Hugh Grant, is set to begin streaming on Hulu from 8 September 2026. The film, praised for Grant's unusually sinister turn away from his familiar romantic-comedy persona, has been highlighted as one of several notable horror releases drawing renewed attention amid a strong year for the genre.

Heretic follows two young Mormon missionaries, played by Sophie Thatcher and Chloe East, who find themselves trapped with a manipulative stranger played by Grant, whose performance earned him a Golden Globe nomination. Released by A24 around Halloween 2024 on a reported $10 million budget, it grossed roughly $60 million worldwide ($28 million domestic, $32 million international), finishing second at the US box office in its opening weekend behind The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
