Taylor Sheridan, creator of "Yellowstone" and other hit television franchises, has revealed he was homeless twice while pursuing his career, at one point choosing to sleep in his car rather than abandon his dream of working in entertainment. Sheridan has since built an entertainment empire that includes "Yellowstone" and spin-offs such as "Landman", and he owns extensive Texas ranch land, including the $330 million Four Sixes Ranch. Fellow actor Andy Garcia, who stars in "Landman", praised Sheridan in an interview with Fox News Digital as one of Hollywood's latest "mavericks", citing his distinctive dialogue, character development and worldview.
