YES Network and MSG Networks have struck a new streaming partnership with DAZN, making it the exclusive direct-to-consumer home for their sports coverage from the 2026-2027 NBA and NHL seasons. The deal is set to end the Gotham Sports App, a joint streaming venture the two New York-focused broadcasters launched together in 2024, reflecting the wider pressure regional sports networks face from cord-cutting and shifting viewing habits towards streaming and mobile clips.

Subscribers in the networks' regional territories will get live coverage of the Yankees, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Devils, Islanders and Sabres, plus 24/7 feeds of the MSG, MSG Sportsnet and YES channels and original programming. Existing Gotham Sports App users will keep uninterrupted access while migration details are finalised in the coming months. For DAZN, best known in the US for combat sports and soccer, the tie-up expands its American footprint, building on its international streaming of the NFL, NHL, NBA and college sports; executives from both DAZN and YES Network framed the deal as strengthening the streaming experience for fans.
