YMU Signs ‘Rap Game UK’ Host Krept
Talent agency YMU has brought on Krept, the hip-hop artist and entrepreneur known as one half of the UK duo Krept & Konan. The representation agreement covers music management alongside his ventures in business partnerships, broadcasting, live performances and intellectual property. Krept recently stepped away from his hosting duties on BBC Three's 'The Rap Game UK', a show he presented alongside DJ Target and his musical partner Konan that concluded after six seasons on air.
Beyond his decade-long music career, Krept has built a reputation as a savvy businessman. He co-founded Nala's Baby, a natural skincare line created following the birth of his daughter, and Saveways, a supermarket chain targeting Black, Asian and ethnic minority shoppers. Agency leadership praised him as an uncommon figure who bridges creative work and commercial enterprise, adding him to their stable of established entertainment personalities.
