Wicketkeeper Harry Duke has signed a permanent contract with Middlesex from Yorkshire, extending through the end of 2028. This move formalises a successful loan arrangement and is particularly significant given Duke's recent impact, including helping Middlesex win the One-Day Cup on Sunday.

The 25-year-old initially joined Middlesex on loan in May as an injury replacement for Joe Cracknell before returning for the remainder of the campaign. He has demonstrated exceptional form this month, scoring a career-best 100 not out against Durham in the County Championship, followed by 94 against Gloucestershire, and contributing 55 in the One-Day Cup final at Trent Bridge, where Middlesex defeated Leicestershire.
