‘Young Americans’ Hulu Pilot Sets Five For Lead Roles Opposite Scott Foley

Hulu has cast five young actors in its pilot Young Americans, joining Scott Foley, who will play US President Judd Burchfield. The Washington-set drama follows the children of the political elite at an academy where teenage rivalries echo their parents’ power struggles.

Billie Boullet plays the President’s daughter Julia, alongside Sam Rechner, Mia Isaac, Oscar Winter and Lauren Mei as students from influential families and a scholarship student. The story includes a forbidden romance between students from opposing political families; Chris Hutton and Eddie O’Keefe created the pilot, with Bruce Miller among its executive producers.
