Los Angeles “Satanic doo-wop” duo Twin Temple made their US late-night television debut on The Daily Show, performing Haunt Me from their forthcoming third album, Doomed Lovers. During an interview with host Jordan Klepper, husband-and-wife members Zachary and Alexandra James discussed modern Satanism and responded to being removed from two recent shows with country musician Charley Crockett because of their Satanic presentation.
The band said they were shocked by the cancellations, while Alexandra James jokingly called for “a little more Satanic Panic”. Their appearance brought their theatrical, provocative image to a wider US audience while promoting Doomed Lovers, which is expected to be their third album.
