Tencent and developer COSMICPUP have announced Ordinary Oddness, an unusual open-world RPG planned for PS5. Its debut trailer presents a world where humans and mythical beings coexist, with reality shifting around the city of Elysian Skies; the striking, unpredictable style sets it apart from conventional RPG reveals.

The 22-minute video appears to show a full mission, including boss fights and combat that lets players switch characters and combine blocks and parries. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game may be free to play, though that has not been confirmed. No release date has been announced.
