Yung Lean marked his 30th birthday on stage at Electric Castle 2026 in Romania, turning his joint set with fellow Swedish artist Bladee into an impromptu celebration. The pair performed together on the festival's Hangar stage, with Bladee pausing his solo segment to alert the crowd to the milestone before Yung Lean thanked fans for spending the day with him.

The duo played tracks from their 2024 collaborative album 'Psykos', with Yung Lean confirming he was born on 18 July 1996. Their set formed part of the festival's third day at Banffy Castle in Bonțida, alongside headline performances from Nothing But Thieves and Chase & Status, plus earlier sets from Kid Kapichi, The Motans and LP. Yung Lean and Bladee have released two joint projects, 'Psykos' and 2025 EP 'Evil World', while Electric Castle 2026 continues until 20 July with The Cure, Dogstar and Just Mustard still to perform.
