Yung Lean has released a cover of Robyn’s 2005 song “Robotboy”, recorded at Robyn’s request. Produced by Robyn collaborator Klas Åhlund, the new version takes a droning, minimal approach to the already restrained original.

The cover was first teased at a fashion show last year, before Robyn announced her album Sexistential. Robyn said she felt the song suited Yung Lean particularly well, interpreting his performance as him addressing an older version of himself; the pair had also both featured on Charli XCX’s “360” remix.
